Pride Radio, the 24/7 dance-pop hits radio channel with a gay sensibility, and the Los Angeles radio station 104.3MYfm are giving away a wedding for two couples on the set of the smash hit musical WICKED at the Pantages Theatre. At the ceremony, the actresses playing Elphaba and Glinda will sing “For Good” to the couples, while 10 friends and family of each couple view from the audience. The wedding is on Thursday afternoon, October 30.
Couples can submit their “Untold Story” of why they are getting married, and then will be voted on by listeners of the two stations and the public. Entrants have until October 11 to post their stories; voting takes place on line; and the winners are announced on October 20th with St. John, the afternoon personality of 104.3 MYfm and Harry Legg, the afternoon personality on PrideRadio.
One winning couple will be chosen from the Los Angeles based 104.3MYfm, and the other couple will be chosen from the nationally broadcast PrideRadio.com. In addition to winning a wedding on stage at the historic Pantages Theatre, each couple will also receive tickets to see WICKED on October 30. The national winning couple will receive round-trip tickets on jetBlue to Los Angeles, accommodations at the Hollywood Heights Hotel and a $500 gift card to use towards their trip.
The contest is sponsored by WICKED, jetBlue, discoverLosAngeles.com, and the Hollywood Heights Hotel.
