Hockey Hall of Famer Luc Robitaille and his wife artist/author Stacia were honored on Friday at the COP 4 CAUSES "Golden Ticket" event for their years dedication to foster youth.

Proceeds from the evening will benefit Cops 4 Causes "Golden Ticket" initiative. President Founder and LA County Deputy Sheriff, Christopher Landavazo, said. "This program is committed to fostering a network of support for at-risk-youth, including Commercially Sexually Exploited Children (CSEC) by providing life-changing connections with police, fire and military professionals for both groups to attend theatre with theatre organizations like The
Pasadena Playhouse. Deputy Landavazo also stated, "The support of the L.A. County Department of Children & Family Services (DCFS) and our theater community in Los Angeles has been amazing. We are looking forward to working together to provide foster youth with enrichment opportunities to experience the magic of live word-class theater."

On March 7th, he became the seventh Los Angeles sports icon to be honored with a statue in Star Plaza at Staples Center. In 2007, Luc and his wife Stacia founded the non-profit organization Echoes of Hope, with Stacia serving as Board Chair. Echoes of Hope strives to awaken the spirit of hope in the lives of emancipated youth and youth in need by providing the resources, knowledge, skills, love, and support they need to reach their full potential.
Cops 4 Causes is he first law enforcement, non-profit organization to be created to collectively highlight the philanthropic efforts of law enforcement. Our organization is comprised of all levels of peace officers, public safety officials, and friends and family of law enforcement who seek to raise funds and awareness to give back to our communities, support our military troops & veterans, and to aid families of law enforcement officers killed or gravely disabled in the line of duty.
