South Coast Repertory tackles William Shakespeare's Hamlet in its final production of their 2006-2007 Season with Tony Award winning director Daniel Sullivan helming the English classic, which begins previews May 25.

Television alums and seasoned actors join the cast, including Hamish Linklater (CBS series "The New Adventures of Old Christine") in the title role, Robert Foxworth, Dakin Matthews and Michael Urie (ABC series "Ugly Betty") as Horatio.  The cast of Hamlet also features Richard Doyle, Hal Landon Jr. and Linda Gehringer.

The creative team includes Ralph Funicello (set design), Ilona Somogyi (costume design), Pat Collins (lighting design), Obadiah Eaves (composer/sound design), Robin McFarquhar (fight director), Armando Molina (assistant director), Dakin Matthews and John Glore (dramaturgs) and Jamie A. Tucker (stage manager).

Tickets to Hamlet can be purchased online at www.scr.org, by phone at 714-708-5555 or by visiting the box office at 655 Town Center Drive in Costa Mesa. Performances begin on May 25 and continue through July 1. Ticket prices range from $20 to $60. Low-priced preview performances are available from May 25 to May 31.
