Audiences were roaring with laughter during the opening weekend of Ken Ludwig's Tony Award winning comedy LEND ME A TENOR presented by Kentwood Players. Performances continue through August 17 on Fridays and Saturdays at 8pm with Sunday matinees at 2pm at the Westchester Playhouse, located at 8301 Hindry Avenue, Westchester, CA 90045. The production is directed by Gail Bernardi and produced by Susan Goldman Weisbarth by special arrangement with Samuel French, Inc. Featured in the cast are Samantha Barrios, Rachel Boller, Harold Dershimer, Matt Landig, Maria Pavone, Scot Renfro, Susan Weisbarth, and Michael Willens.
On a historic night at the Cleveland Opera Company, world famrous tenor Tito Merelli is set to perform Otello. Through a series of mishaps, misunderstandings and mistaken identities, Tito receives a double dose of tranquilers causing the House Manager and his timid assistant to believe Tito is dead - thus setting off a chain reaction of slapstick and hilarious escapades. The production is a fun and laugh filled evening appropriate for the entire family.
