Photo Flash: Sneak Peek - Color and Light Theatre Ensemble to Encore THINGS TO RUIN, Feb 8

Due to the success of its special presentation of Things to Ruin in January, Color and Light Theatre Ensemble will be adding an additional performance on February 8. Scroll down for photos from the January performance!

Things to Ruin is an incendiary collection of songs by Kleban and Larson Award Winner Joe Iconis (SMASH, The Black Suits and Bloodsong of Love). The songs present a slew of fears, loves, insecurities and radical ideas wrapped up into an evening of theatre set in a bar. Thus, this performance will take place in one as well - a musical theatre experience far away from Hammerstein and friends.

Things to Ruin is a theatrical rock concert about human beings who are messy, emotional, drugged up, knocked down, inspired, electric and who don't have nearly enough time to cause the kind of commotion they so desperately need to cause. The show rocks with an occasionally profane and always heartfelt explosion of music and high drama.

Things to Ruin features direction and musical staging by Joanna Syiek (Broadway World Nomination - Best Direction, The Pokémusical) with musical direction by Jennifer Lin. The cast includes Emily Arkuss, Jeff T. Buco, Ben Burch, Ari Gwasdoff, Josh Hillinger, Tyler Ledon, Katharine McDonough, Jamie Mills, Kelsey Schulte, and Mitchell Webb.

This additional performance of Things to Ruin will be on February 8, 2014 at 9:00PM. The production will be held at the Surf Dog's Sports Grill located at 5932 Warner Ave, Huntington Beach, CA 92649.
