An exclusive group of Hollywood's finest tastemakers, entrepreneurs and stars praised the success of last week's official launch party for The Performance Group, founded by Joel Landi, which was held at the private Hollywood Hills home of Emmy Award-winning production team, Peter and Lisa Brennan of P & L Media and produced by award-winning personal branding agent, Brandi Kamenar.
The red carpet gala, which benefited the philanthropic work of The Mulligan Project, set the stage for every guest to learn about the new breakthrough personal life coaching brand, The Performance Group, through one-on-one engagement with Landi in an affable environment at the Sunset Plaza home.
Guests in all their evening finery, including celebrities such as Mara Marini of NBC's "Parks and Recreation," Oscar nominated "No" producer Daniel Dreifuss, Patrick Kilpatrick ("Minority Report"), famous muppeteer Bill Barretta, soap star Sandra Dee Robinson, and acclaimed Brazilian-American actor Daniel Benzali, among others, partook in signature tastings of Pacific Rim inspired delights from Celebrity Executive Chef Mark Kearney's latest 7-Star menu from "The Grand Pacific."
Guests mingled, dined and imbibed under the stars on such dishes as sumptuous Maui Crab Cakes, Coconut Roquefort Terrine, Sesame Pan Seared Ahi Tuna, and Prime Rib sliders, and an assortment of cocktails ranging from Crater Lake Vodka martinis, delicious Malibu Vineyards wine, Tequila Maya margaritas, and handcrafted spirits from Bendistillery.
Always the avid adventurer, Landi launched The Performance Group to help those stuck in midlife lulls discover a deeper fulfillment in their lives. The Performance Group creates breakthrough experiences that shake clients out of their comfort zones, in order to help them find their edge and then explore it, whether it's a newfound passion or a life-long dream.
"Thanks to the world-class efforts of Brandi Kamenar, the generosity of The Brennans and spectacular gastronomic creations from Executive Chef Mark Kearney, The Performance Group's launch celebration was an overwhelming success," said Landi. "They each helped to build an unforgettable experience that properly showcased my brand and its mission that to achieve your personal and professional best, you must always go beyond what you think is possible - go to the outer edge of your limits - in order to capture a breakthrough."
"Joel continues to amaze me by putting himself into new and sometimes risky situations that keeps him on The Edge and growing," said Moe Bishara, MD, Assistant Professor of Medicine at Loma Linda University of Medicine. "For over 20 years, he has been a catalyst for significant change in others, bringing authenticity and approachability that many enjoy. The event was a success because it gave everyone the opportunity to see the same person I know, respect and admire."
"I'm thrilled that Joel is now able to share his invaluable experiences and practical insights to help others find their own 'aha' moments and more purpose in their lives."
The Expedition Club, TPG's excursion-based operation, also invigorates personal growth in a daring and adventurous format and warm conversational backdrop, by introducing like-minded people to action-packed excursions that spark a clearer vision of a greater purpose and better understanding of one's self.
Whether he's been a motivational Ministry leader, an engaged husband and father, an ardent traveler, a racer, or a Survival Training Officer in the U.S. Navy, Landi has always been committed to showing others that taking proper risks in proper contexts produces extraordinary rewards.
