Last night, Oculi Entertainment & Directional Entertainment held the premiere of their new film Gone Are the Days at the Laemmle Music Hall Theater in Beverly Hills, CA. The film is set in early twentieth-century Old West drama starring, Golden Globe® nominee, Lance Henriksen and Academy Award® nominee Tom Berenger, and also starring Danny Trejo, directed by Mark Landre Gould.

Gone Are the Days is now playing an limited engagement at the Laemmle Music Hall Theatre in Beverly Hills.

A tale of revenge, redemption and love, Gone Are the Days follows the story of Taylon Flynn, a notorious but aging outlaw struggling to come to terms with the man he has become versus who he once was. Sensing that his time is short, Taylon's quest for absolution and vengeance converges in an old mining town as he faces the truth and pain of his past sins: a daughter he abandoned, a friend he left for dead, and a wife brutally murdered for his crimes. Taylon must not only retrieve his soul from the depths of sin, but save the one thing in life that he truly loves.

For Henriksen, the film provides an unconventional role. According to producer Richard Hocutt "It was absolutely amazing to see Lance completely inhabit and become this character. A master of his craft, at the top of his form, this performance is truly a tour de force." Known for his performances in the Aliens franchise and TV'sMillenium, the multi-faceted and capable Henriksen is aptly suited as Taylon Flynn. Veteran actors Tom Berenger (Platoon, Inception) plays the vengeful sheriff Will, and Danny Trejo (Machete, Heat) brings his iconic villain to the screen with the distinct River Man. The film also stars Billy Lush, Meg Steedle and Steve Railsback.

Gone Are the Days is a unique, character-driven western. Producer Richard J. Cook describes it as having all the elements of an Old West film, "like a gun fight, bar scenes, guys in boots and chaps but it's a different tale. It also has the elements of Dante's Inferno. It's a hybrid. It's unique, and we need unique westerns to set them apart."

Award-winning producer Richard J. Cook, Richard Hocutt, Mark Landre Gould and Nicole Rodan are the producers of the film. Gould directed the Gregory M. Tucker screenplay, with the cast assembled by award-winning casting director Mary Jo Slater.
