"November,"
David Mamet's scathingly hilarious take on the lengths to which politicians will go to win an election, opens at the
Center Theatre Group/
Mark Taper Forum October 7, 2012, at 7 p.m. Performances continue through November 4. Check out photos of

Featuring Begley, Jr.,
Gregory Cruz, Huffman, McLachlan and
Todd Weeks under the direction of
Scott Zigler, "November" takes place a few days before a presidential election and incumbent
Charles Smith (played by Begley) is in for a rough month -- his campaign funds are running out, his poll numbers are "lower than Gandhi's cholesterol" and the sofa needs to be reupholstered. But although his speechwriter (Huffman) seems to have defected, his chief of staff (McLachlan) has all but given up and his wife is planning for her post-White House life, Charles isn't ready to throw in the towel quite yet.
"November" features set design by
Takeshi Kata, costume design by
Laura Bauer, lighting design by
Josh Epstein and casting by
Erika Sellin. The production stage manager is
Barclay Stiff.
