Chalk Repertory Theatre continues their Fifth Anniversary Season by heading to the grounds of UCLA's historic William Andrews Clark Memorial Library to present Lady Windermere's Fan by Oscar Wilde from July 27-August 18, 2013 on Saturdays and Sundays at 6:00pm. The running time is 2 hours. Gates will open at 5:00pm for pre-show picnicking in the beautiful gardens. Please bring blankets or lawn chairs and food items in non-breakable containers.

The William Andrews Clark Memorial Library is located at 2520 Cimarron St., Los Angeles, CA 90018 in the West Adams neighborhood of Los Angeles, and houses the pre-eminent collection of Oscar Wilde materials in the world. Lady Windermere's Fan will be performed in Chalk's signature site-specific style throughout the lawns and courtyards of the library.

Performances of Lady Windermere's Fan are a part of the Clark Library's new Arts on the Grounds outdoor theater series this summer. For more information about the series can be found at www.c1718cs.ucla.edu/artsonthegrounds.

As the comedy of manners unfolds, watch over the course of her party and its fallout as she navigates the waves of gossip to unravel an intricate web of lies.

Directed by Chalk Rep founding member Jennifer Chang, Lady Windermere's Fan features a multicultural cast with characters who may feel reminiscent of the icons of today's social elite, adding contemporary relevance to the play's questions of status and loyalty.

Featured in the cast is Chalk Rep Founding Member Teri Reeves from NBC's Chicago Fire as well as Amielynn Abellera, Feodor Chin, Amin El Gamal, Amalia Fite, Allie Jennings,Tess Lina, Owiso Odera, Brian Slaten, Scott Takeda, George Wyhinny, and Peter Wylie.
