Celebration Theatre and JohnMichael Beck present the second show in its 2016-2017 season, under the artistic direction of Michael Matthews & Michael A. Shepperd, Drew Droege starring in DIE, MOMMIE, DIE! by Charles Busch and directed by Ryan Bergmann. DIE, MOMMIE, DIE! opens tonight, February 17, at 8pm and performs through Sunday, March 26 at Celebration Theatre at the Lex Theatre, 6760 Lexington Ave. in Los Angeles. BroadwayWorld has a first look at the cast in action below!

Charles Busch's campy noir classic, DIE MOMMIE DIE! stars the hilarious Drew Droege (Bright Colors and Bold Patterns, Chloe, Logo's Cocktails & Classics) as aging Hollywood star Angela Arden. The cast also features Pat Towne, Julanne Chidi Hill, Gina Torrecilla, Andrew Carter and Tom DeTrinis.

Trapped in a hateful marriage with sleazy film producer Sol and desperate to find happiness with her gorgeous young lover Tony, Angela murders her husband. But when her children, Edith and Lance, discover what she's done, they decide to take revenge! Family secrets are revealed and you'll never see the surprise twist coming. This Greek tragedy on acid is an over-the-top comedy of Gay Hollywood proportions. You won't want to miss this rollicking good time!

DIE, MOMMIE, DIE! has assembled an award-winning design team with set design by Pete Hickok, lighting design by Matthew Brian Denman, costume design by Allison Dillard, sound design by ReBecca Kessin, and properties design by Michael O'Hara. Megan Brister is the stage manager with assistant direction by Daniel Montgomery. DIE, MOMMIE, DIE! is produced by Erinn Anova.
