Doris Roberts, the 5 time EMMY award-winning actress from "Everybody Loves Raymond," supported the play by saying "I had the pleasure for directing Jack (Betts) in the past, and although I am not directing this production, Jack is a terrific writer and wonderful director. I am looking forward to seeing everyone at opening night."
Best known for his early work in spaghetti westerns, veteran actor, director, and writer, Jack Betts, also starred opposite Richard Burton in "The Assassination of Trotsky," and Bridgitte Bardot in "Boulevard Du Rhum." However, most fans will remember Mr. Betts from roles in "Spiderman," "Falling Down" with Michael Douglas and in the role of Boris Karloff in "Gods and Monsters" and, of course, his eight years as Ivan Kippling on "One Life to Live."
Of his latest project, "It Goes Like This," Jack says, "It is a play about unconditional acceptance within the family. A story that is based on a shockingly true experience of my own, this is a very timely theatrical production with a message that audiences need to hear." The cast to date includes four time Golden Globe nominee, Harry Hamlin, in the role of General Douglas Gallagher.
