Connie Stevens, Romi Dames, Dee Wallace, Barbara Van Orden, Kate Linder, Ruta Lee, Ilene Graff, Michael Ironside, Patricia Kara, Thaao Pengilis, and the Greece Consul General and Elizabeth Fotiadou, among others were on hand for the opening night of "ONASSIS" starring Anthony Skordi at The Stella Adler Theatre. See photos from the production and opening night reception below!

Audiences and critics who raved about Anthony Skordi's tour de force as Edgar Allen Poe in “Poe,” will not be disappointed with his depiction of the megalomaniac - Aristotle Onassis. Skordi is a master of storytelling. Seducing the audience, in much the same way, Ari himself might have done with world leaders in his home or aboard his famous Yacht “The Christina.” Skordi does the impossible, by enabling the audience to relate to the overwhelmingly complex, even mythical, character of Onassis. Skordi manages to bring Aristotle Onassis' storybook existence ... or to some a Greek tragedy, to life in just under ninety minutes. Patrons not only laughed out loud, but often found themselves responding emotionally to Skordi's depiction of the man who entertained everyone from business tycoons and royalty to the icons of stage and screen, as well as Presidents … and their wives. "ONASSIS" offers a glimpse into the opulent world of the man who made and lived by his own rules as he went along. The billionaire who faced scandals, deaths and what many would call the “Onassis Curse.”

Anthony Skordi has recently received acclaim for his lead work on the Kevin Spacey feature film, ENVELOPE, in addition to having just completed principle photography on "Lucky Stiff" with Jason Alexander. To younger generations, he is the embodiment of their favorite video game characters in God Of War 4, Mass Effect or the voice for Leviathan. "ONASSIS" marks his very successful return to his theatre roots.

The scheduled run of "ONASSIS" is now through Sunday, October 28, 2012 at the The Stella Adler Theatre - 6773 Hollywood Boulevard, LA, Calif. Tickets can be purchased at the Stella Adler Theater box office or online at www.brownpapertickets.com.
