On Thursday, November 18, 2010, The Americana at Brand hosted the third annual Holiday Tree Lighting Celebration produced by Chris Isaacson Presents.
With an audience of over 20,000 people, the Tree Lighting Celebration starred ABC's Dancing With The Stars sensation Mark Ballas, two-time Grammy Award-winner Peabo Bryson, the cast of "Cinderella: A Christmas Story" from the El Portal Theatre's forth-coming production which included Jerry Mathers, the beloved "Beaver" from the timeless sitcom Leave it to Beaver, Harry Potter's Freddie Stroma, Broadway sensation Jennifer Leigh Warren, newcomer Veronica Dunne and featured the 100-piece La Canada High School Marching Band, Faithful Central Gospel Choir and a special appearance by Santa Claus.
Standing at over 100-ft tall, The Americana at Brand Christmas Tree has over 10,000 glistening lights and is decorated with over 15,000 sparkling ornaments.
