On Fri & Sat, Feb 26 & 27, 2009 - Singer-Songwriter and musical theater composer Jeremy Schonfeld made his stunning Los Angeles debut with two sold-out concerts at Upright Cabaret.
Schonfeld's singular blend of tuneful pop, hard-edged rock, gospel, soul and blues has drawn him comparisons in the New York Times to Billy Joel and Jonathan Larson, and has made him one of today's most sought after composing talents.
Leading a talented cast which included Broadway heavyweights Adam Pascal (Broadway: Rent), Tracie Thoms (Broadway: RENT, Devil Wears Prada, Grindhouse, Coldcase), Shoshana Bean (Broadway: Wicked, Hairspray) with Christian Campbell, America Olivio, Adam Jacobs and Julie Garnye, Schonfeld performed brand new material from upcoming projects, as well as familiar favorites from the acclaimed concept album and musical Drift; and the previously released albums "37 Notebooks," and "Blue Skies & All".
