Performers From Broadway And LA Announced For (mostly)musicals' SongsforaHAPPYnewyear Image

(mostly)musicals welcomes Broadway's Kerry O'Malley, Michael-Leon Wooley, and Sharon McNight, plus LA favorites Katy Harvey and Marc Ginsburg to their 27th edition on 1.8.18 at Upstairs at Vitello's!

Don't let your holiday sparkle fade - celebrate the new year, and (mostly)musicals' 4th birthday, with songsforaHAPPYnewyear! Led by 3 time Ovation Award winner Gregory Nabours at the piano, the evening will feature a stellar array of talent including Broadway's Kerry O'Malley (Into the Woods, White Christmas, On a Clear Day...) making her 1st appearance with mmLA; Michael-Leon Wooley (Little Shop, 5 Guys Named Moe, The Music Man), and Sharon McNight (Tony nominee, Starmites). We'll also feature some of your favorite LA performers, including Katy Harvey (Ariel in The Little Mermaid at Cupcake Theatre) making her 1st mmLA appearance, Alli Miller (Cherry Poppins), Amanda Kruger (UMPO Home Alone at Rockwell), Domonique Paton (Frozen: Live at the Hyperion), Emily Clark (Mr. Burns at Sacred Fools), Marc Ginsburg (world premiere: Levi!), Mark Jacobson (I Am Frankie on Nickelodeon), Matthew Valle (world premiere Skullduggery at Sacred Fools), Randy Guiaya (Next to Normal at East West Players), and more - plus Jessica Reiner-Harris and Victor E. Chan (Miss You Like Hell at La Jolla Playhouse) who were in our very FIRST show. They'll sing some pop, some jazz, but (mostly)musicals - the only rule is NO SAD SONGS ALLOWED!

And if singing makes YOU happy, you'll have your chance at the open mic afterparty hosted by Emily Clark and Mark Jacobson! Come early to enjoy Vitello's great food and drinks - and, of course, there WILL be party favors!

Producer Amy Francis Schott says, "Our 1st show was a night of happy songs on January 8th, 2014 at Don't Tell Mama's in WeHo - we'd added a couple of clip lights, and blew out the power to the stage lights and the cash register computers 1/2 way through the show. Little did we know that 26 shows and multiple venues later, we'd still be growing! Every January we've returned to a night of happy music, and it's consistently been one of our most popular shows of the year!"

Tickets are $20 and available at www.tinyurl.com/mmLA-HAPPY18. (There will be a $10 surcharge on tickets purchased on the day of the show.) Doors open at 6:30pm for dinner and drinks, showtime is 7:30pm with the open mic afterparty immediately following.

Vitello's Restaurant is located at 4349 Tujunga Avenue, Studio City, CA. Valet and street parking are available. For more information, visit www.mostlymusicalsLA.com, or follow #mmLA on FB, YouTube, and twitter @ /mostlymusicals
