Ever wondered what really goes on behind closed doors at auditions? Well now's your chance to find out. On Monday 3 August, "NEXT!" is giving you an exclusive look at the exciting world of Musical Theatre Auditions.
Only the best singers from Broadway and Hollywood will prove that they've got what it takes to make it, as you are granted a behind-the-scenes look at the anxiety and exhilaration of "auditions." You will know the hilarious living HELL these performers go through to book that next big gig!
They don't know the show's title. They don't know what character they're auditioning for. But there's one thing these amazing singers DO know: they are going to do whatever it takes to land the best role they've ever had... even if it means totally embarrassing themselves in the process.
Putting the singers through their paces is our "Director" and Broadway veteran PAUL VOGT (Hairspray, Chicago and television's MADtv). "I'm excited to see if these performers can take whatever I throw at them...literally...throw at them." Joining Vogt on stage for the "casting" will be "Stage Manager"
Roberta B. Wall (Sister Act, Leap of Faith), "Music Director" Brian P. Kennedy, and "Playwright" Dimitri Toscas.
"Auditioning" on August 3 will be
Constantine Rousouli (Broadway: Wicked, Ghost),
Ashley Argota (ABC Family's The Fosters),
Christine Lakin (Step by Step, Family Guy),
Mindy Sterling (Austin Powers),
Diane Vincent,
Stephen Van Dorn, Angela Sapolis Bruun, and
Peter Allen Vogt.
Will they have what it takes to "make the cut" or will they hear the director scream "NEXT!"? Find out at
