Paul Michael Nieman to Star in PASSCAL and All Seasons Theatre's OUR TOWN, 8/2

Casting is now complete for the 75th Anniversary Production of OUR TOWN which will open as a fundraiser for the First Congregational Church of Buena Park on August 2nd. PASSCAL (The Performing Arts Society of Southern California) in association with All Seasons Theatre Company will produce the limited engagement of the Thornton Wilder classic with Americana music and original scoring composed by Jonathan Kupper. Directing the production is Patrick Riviere who is also currently directing the LA premiere of PIE Story Theatre for CASA 0101 Theater and recently received critical acclaim for his direction of THE LAST DAYS OF JUDAS ISCARIOT at The Victory Theater.

Former San Diego DJ and local actor Paul Michael Nieman (FIDDLER, A FEW GOOD MEN) has been cast to play the principal role of Stage Manager. Also cast in principal roles are Emma Berdie Donson as Emily; Paul Flores as George; John Sanger as Doc Gibbs; Kirsten Roquemore as Mrs. Gibbs; Norm Gold as Editor Webb and Kerri Malmgren as Mrs. Webb. Rounding out the cast: Rebekah Auda, Lori Bowen, Kiah Candell-Vastine, Brittany Costa, James Greene, Gigi Herreros, Jason Hoskins, Jeremy Leochner, Matt Muggio, Alex Pike and Jonathan Kupper as Simon Stimson.

"The setting is perfect," noted Riviere of the church. "There is definitely a timeless and historical feel about the place and you couldn't ask for a better structure for the wedding scene in Act 2!"
