The Edge of Wilderness by Andrea Sloan Pink - In a forlorn hotel bar in Costa Rica, a comparative lit professor who lives a comfortable life meets an Italian filmmaker who looks at life from a certain lens: "If it's not adventure, it's false." After encounters with him and a local transgendered man, she looks at art and life anew. Directed by Angela Cruz. The Countess Tolstoy by Arthur Kraft - In 1891, Leo Tolstoy's wife Sonya persuades the Tsar of Russia to allow Tolstoy's latest story to be widely published, even though it has upset officials of both church and state. Returning home victorious, she is stunned by Tolstoy's condemnation of her efforts - and of her. Directed by Philip Brickey.Videos
