In 1982, Helen Gurley Brown wrote the landmark book, "Having It All," that proposed that women could in fact, "have it all" -- successful careers, children, husbands, family life, and still have time to cook dinner and do the laundry! Now almost 30 years later, in this World Premiere musical, five women -- each with her own hopes, secrets and desires -- find themselves trapped together in a boarding area at JFK airport. When delay after airport delay forces them to get to know each other, they come to find that each of them can't take flight in more ways than one. As they share their stories and intimacies, they ultimately change one another's destinations for the better, while discovering that they may in fact, be already having it all.
HAVING IT ALL was an official selection of the 2006 New York Music Theatre Festival and the 2008 National Alliance for Music Theatre Songwriters Showcase.
HAVING IT ALL has assembled an award-winning design team. The Set Design is by Stephen Gifford (Anita Bryant Died for Your Sins). The Lighting Design is by Luke Moyer (Life Could Be A Dream).
