Synopsis:
Hollywood's Henderson Hotel was an affordable safe haven for artists, but the kindly owner died. His son, Gerry, hungry for money, plans to turn the hotel into condos. Vulgar and mean, Gerry pushes peoples' buttons for fun. He is hated by most, and ends up dead in the lobby of his hotel. Suspects abound. His cheating wife is involved in the drug business. There's also her lover, a young musician with a wealthy father and a bad temper; an aged actress whose verbose nature gets her wrapped up in everyone's business; a lonely young dancer, willing to make any sacrifice for her art, which leads her into her landlord dirty clutches; an eccentric artist with a pocket full of curses; the local drug dealer, the Eminem-like Black Bobby; and a feminist poet and disgraced college professor, deeply intellectual and always drunk. These people each had personal issues with Gerry, even before the eviction notice. All had reason to kill. Then millionaire cop, Lt. Black, shows up with his retinue of paparazzi.
