Tickets are now on sale for the newest live show from YouTube comedy group the Tin Can Brothers, THE SOLVE IT SQUAD RETURNS. The one-act play follows the adventures of a group of former kid detectives. After 20 years of growing up and apart, they must return to the scene of their greatest unsolved case: the murder of their trusty dog Cluebert. A send-up to classics like Scooby Doo, The Hardy Boys, and Nancy Drew, THE SOLVE IT SQUAD RETURNS puts its own dark, twisted spin on these beloved characters.

The show will run from June 15-18 and June 22-25 (Thursdays-Saturdays at 8PM, Sundays at 3PM) at the Secret Rose Theatre at 11246 W Magnolia Blvd in North Hollywood, CA. Tickets are $25 with general admission seating.

THE SOLVE IT SQUAD RETURNS is written and produced by the Tin Can Brothers (Corey Lubowich, Joey Richter, and BrIan Rosenthal). The play will also feature several original songs by Second City alumnus Nick Gage. In addition to Richter and Rosenthal, the cast will feature Ashley Clements (Emmy Award winning series The Lizzie Bennet Diaries), Lauren Lopez (StarKid's Trail to Oregon Off-Broadway), and Gabe Greenspan (Freeform's Dinner with Dad).

The show will be directed by Corey Lubowich, with costume design by June Saito.

Tin Can Brothers is made up of Los Angeles based entertainers Corey Lubowich, Joey Richter, and BrIan Rosenthal. With talents ranging from writing and acting, to directing and design, the Tin Can Brothers YouTube channel (https://www.youtube.com/tincanbros) showcases a unique collaboration from these University of Michigan graduates. The three are also members of the viral sensation Team StarKid (over 211 million views on YouTube) and have worked closely on their parody musicals (including A Very Potter Musical and Holy Musical Batman!) as well as two national concert tours. In addition to over 130 videos, they have written and produced two live sketch shows and a feature length stage musical, Spies Are Forever. Their musical short film, Flop Stoppers, was an official selection of both Newport Beach Film Festival and Buffer Festival. The Tin Can Brothers (and friends) can also be seen Wednesday nights on their livestreamed Legendary Digital show, Choose Our Destiny: Improv Adventure.

Corey Lubowich is an LA-based writer, director, and designer. Past stage projects include: Spies Are Forever (Tin Can Brothers), Airport For Birds (Second City), Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog (Basement Arts), Reefer Madness (Athenaeum Theatre), and The Last Days of Judas Iscariot (Stage 773). Other projects: the musical short film Flop Stoppers (Tin Can Brothers), Listen Up concert tour (Darren Criss), the webseries World's Worst Musical (Verse Factory), and the tabletop game Detective Bullshit (Tasty Penguin Games).

Joey Richter is a proud graduate of the University of Michigan BFA Acting program where he also Minored in Global Media Studies. Film/TV credits include: Nickelodeon's Genie in a Bikini, Disney Channel's Jessie as Officer Petey, several seconds of Fox's Glee as Apple #8, The Legend of Korra, Mad, Monsters vs. Aliens, Manly, as well as Triggerfish's film Khumba. Online credits include: School of Thrones, Muzzled, New Form Digital's Incubator Series short, I Ship It, and Shipwrecked Comedy's Edgar Allan Poe's Murder Mystery Dinner Party. Theatrically, Joey has worked closely with StarKid Productions for the past 6 years. His credits with StarKid include the Very Potter Musical Trilogy, the S.P.A.C.E and Apocalyptour national concert tours, Starship, Me and My Dick, The Trail to Oregon! (Off Broadway at Cherry Lane Theatre in NYC), and Firebringer. Additionally, he co-produced/performed in The Last Days of Judas Iscariot at Chicago's Stage 773. He studies improv at both the UCB and iO West and performs weekly on Legendary Digital's Choose Our Destiny: Improv Adventure.

BrIan Rosenthal Recent theatre credits: Stephen in Line, Twiller in The Torchbearers and Solomon in Speech and Debate. Brian is a founding member of StarKid Productions (Very Potter Musical Trilogy, Apocalyptour) and performs regularly in LA with his acclaimed improv troupe MERLIN, as well as on Legendary Digital's Choose Our Destiny: Improv Adventure. He has appeared nationally in commercials and holds a BFA in Acting from the University of Michigan.
