Burbank's The Colony Theatre announced Tuesday they are now offering a money-back guarantee for the Los Angeles premiere of The Musical of Musicals:  The Musical!, running through Sunday, November 19.

Artistic Director Barbara Beckley believes the production, featuring music by Eric Rockwell, lyrics by Joanne Bogard and book by Rockwell and Bogart, will delight Los Angeles audiences so much that she is putting profits on the line.

"We understand that people can be reluctant to try something new because they're unsure they'll get their money's worth," said Beckley.  "We've taken away that concern.  This is an unconditional offer – no strings attached, no questions asked.  If someone feels this show isn't worth what they paid, all they have to do is ask and we'll give them a full refund."

Pamela Hunt directs and choreographs The Musical of Musicals, starring Alli Mauzey, Mary Gordon Murray, Jeffrey Rockwell and Brent Schindele.

The Musical of Musicals:  The Musical! is a comic satire of musical theatre genres in which one story becomes five musicals, each in the distinctive style of a different master of the form, from Rodgers and Hammerstein to Stephen Sondheim, according to a press release.

The York Theatre in New York first premiered The Musical of Musicals in 2003, which later transferred to Off-Broadway's Dodger Stages in 2005, garnering a nomination for a Drama League Award for distinguished production of a musical.

Ticket prices range from $37 to $42, and can be purchased at the Colony Theatre Box Office at (818) 558-7000 ext. 15.  For more information, visit:  www.colonytheatre.org.
