The full slate of musicals of Moonlight Stage Productions' 2013 summer season is now complete with today's announcement that SOUTH PACIFIC will be the opening show. Rodgers and Hammerstein's enchanting musical will run June 26 - July 13 and will be directed by Steven Glaudini, choreographed by Carlos Mendoza, and musically directed and conducted by Elan McMahan. This artistic team has assembled some of Moonlight's most popular shows in its history including Miss Saigon, Cats, and West Side Story. SOUTH PACIFIC will be Glaudini's first show as new Producing Artistic Director. Scenery and costumes from the 2008 Tony Award-winning Lincoln Center revival will be utilized.
SOUTH PACIFIC joins the already announced productions of THE WIZARD OF OZ, Mel Brooks' YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN, and THE WHO'S TOMMY.

Moonlight Stage Productions is the cultural arts program of the City of Vista and is partially funded by its non-profit fund-raising arm the Moonlight Cultural Foundation.
