Melodrama Announces Auditions for Children for A CHRISTMAS CAROL, 9/12 & 9/13

The Great American Melodrama in Oceano is looking for young actors (boys age 5 to 14 and girls age 5 to 18) for their 2010 production of A Christmas Carol. There is pay.

Auditions will be held at the Melodrama, 1863 Front St (Hwy 1) in Oceano, on Sunday Sept. 12 at 3 p.m. and Monday, Sept. 13 at 6 p.m. Callbacks will be held Monday at 7:30 p.m.

Auditions should include a memorized rhyme or monologue and a verse of a song. An accompanist is not provided - songs may be sung a capella. Audition must be under 2 minutes.

A Christmas Carol begins rehearsal Oct. 26 and runs through Dec. 31.
