On Fri & Sat, Jan 22 & 23, 2010 at 9pm - Upright Cabaret presents renowned Vocal Impressionist Jimmy James in his return to Los Angeles with his new show entitled "IMPRESSIONISM" at Upright Cabaret on Vermont, 1714 N. Vermont Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90027.

Jimmy James was once considered the world's foremost Marilyn Monroe vocal/visual impersonator until he retired the Marilyn Monroe look-a-like business in 1997. He has spent the last 10 years crafting a Dance music and songwriting career in New York City. Now re-invented as a Billboard charting artist with a full album "Jamestown" and an international hit "Fashionista" under his belt; Jimmy James will make a triumphant return home to present two exquisite evenings that will showcase some of the most unbelievable vocal impressions that you have ever heard!

A master vocalist with uncanny talent, "IMPRESSIONISM" will showcase his vocal prowess for impersonation by singing LIVE and recreating many of his famous voice impressions including Cher, Madonna, Judy Garland, Billie Holiday, Bette Davis, Barbra Streisand, Stevie Nicks, Eartha Kitt, Diana Ross and more...including the king himself, Elvis! As an added bonus, James will perform songs from his new album, "Jamestown!"
