The final show of Long Beach Playhouse Mainstage season, How to Succeed in Business, will be extended for one extra weekend, Friday, August 12 and Saturday, August 13. The musical has attracted large audiences and accolades from reviewers. Tickets can be purchased online at lbplayhouse.org or by calling the box office at 562-494-1014 X1.

"We're thrilled when we can add an extra weekend," said Andrew Vonderschmitt, The Playhouse's Executive and Producing Artistic Director. "Audiences have enjoyed this production and we are happy to give more people a chance to catch the show."

The play tells the story of the meteoric rise of window washer J. Pierrepont Finch as he climbs the corporate ladder and battles office parties, backbiting coworkers and ultimately finds love. It's a show audiences have loved since its debut in the 1960s.

The set and costumes are delightful and the show is made even better by The Playhouse's new sound system. The voices of the singers and the music provided by small live ensemble are crystal clear and can be heard equally well throughout the intimate theatre space.

"You'll never feel closer to the action than you do at The Playhouse." said Vonderschmitt.
