Little Fish Theatre has announced new dates for the remainder of the company's 2017 Season.

Due to this winter's record rainstorms, the theatre was forced to go dark in order to complete emergency electrical repairs.

As a result, the original performance schedule was reconfigured. Quartet was moved to the 2018 Season lineup, but all other productions will see the light of day in this calendar year.

Laughter on the 23rd Floor by Neil Simon - golden age of television writer room craziness. New dates: April 21-May 20.

Dinner with Friends by Donald Margulies - marital dissolution sends shockwaves between friends. New dates: May 10-May 28.

The Good Doctor by Neil Simon and Anton Chekhov - a series of shorts as imagined by a writer with writer's block. New dates: June 16-July 15.

Dear Master by Dorothy Bryant - a passionate dialogue in letters between two 19th century French writers. New dates: June 22-July 13.

Best of Pick of the Vine - we're reprising some of our favorite short plays of the last 14 seasons. New dates: August 4-September 2

Boeing Boeing by Marc Camoletti, translated by Beverly Cross & Francis Evans - zany farce involving a man with three fiancees and scheduling issues. New dates: September 22-October 21.

On the Verge or The Geography of Yearning by Eric Overmyer - a fearless feminine Victorian trio set out for Terra Incognita and find adventure. Runs September 28-October 19.

The Night Before The Night Before Christmas by Cricket Daniel - can the Christmas spirit be restored after being stranded in the airport? Runs November 10-December 16.

Heavy rains have damaged the building's aged electrical system to the point where Little Fish Theatre has been completely shut down since the end of February while the massive and expensive electrical upgrade demanded by the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power takes place. The theatre has started an Electrical Fund to help pay for the $27,700 upgrade and invited ticket holders to move to a new date or donate back their cancelled tickets to help recoup some of the lost revenue due to postponement. The repair work is on schedule to be completed in time for an April 21 re-opening.

Since 2002, Little Fish Theatre has been creating quality, award-winning theatre in an intimate converted tow yard venue, enlisting a mix of professionals, emerging artists, and devout volunteers. Having made due with small budgets and part time contractors to keep the doors open, the theatre now depends on these improvements to keep the doors open. LFT is the longest continually-operating, live theatre in the Harbor Area.

Tickets can be purchased online at www.littlefishtheatre.org, by phone at 310-512-6030 or by text 424-226-6030. Popular subscription packages of Anytime Tickets are available now and can be used at any of Little Fish Theatre's regular season productions, at any time.
