Actress and singer Lainie Kazan will join the cast of "Celebrity Autobiography," a comedy hit where celeb performers act out other celebrity memoir excerpts live on stage.
Created and developed by Emmy award nominated writer-performer
Eugene Pack and
Dayle Reyfel, the show features Kazan and other performers such as
Roger Bart,
Mindy Cohn,
Florence Henderson,
Laraine Newman,
Eugene Pack,
Dayle Reyfel and
Fred Willard.
Selections range from the "poetry" of
Suzanne Somers, the confessions of
Justin Bieber and even the famous Hollywood love triangle -
Elizabeth Taylor,
Debbie Reynolds and
Eddie Fisher. And it's all in their own words!
Proceeds from the show will benefit "Actors and Others For Animals," which is a nonprofit group dedicated to the humane treatment of animals.
"Celebrity Autobiography" is Oct. 13 at El Portal Theatre in North Hollywood.
