La Mirada Theatre for the Performing Arts announces MARCH MADNESS with concerts from everything from ‘40s Big Bands to ‘50s smashes like Sha Na Na and Chubby Checker, ‘60s sensations Davy Jones and Dionne Warwick, and classic rock from The Eagles, Leon Russell and Michael Jackson! The theatre has added an additional performance of IN THE MOOD, a 1940's musical revue, on March 11 at 7 p.m. See the MARCH MADNESS schedule below.

A 2011 Inductee into both the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and the Songwriters Hall of Fame, Leon Russell, has a distinguished and unique 50-year career. As a songwriter his songs have hit the charts across all genres and been covered by a diverse range of artists, including Joe Cocker’s “Delta Lady,” The Carpenters’ “Superstar,” #2 on the pop music charts, and George Benson’s “This Masquerade,” winning the Grammy for Record of the Year. His own chart-topping recordings include “Tight Rope,” “A Song for You,” “Lady Blue,” among others. In 2010, Russell with fellow piano man Elton John released The Union, named one of the year’s best albums by Rolling Stone Magazine, and includes the Grammy-nominated single, “If It Wasn’t For Bad."
