Kritzerland at the Gardenia will present KIMMELSONGS on Wednesday, November 2, 2011 at 9 p.m. and 11 p.m.

The event will feature Guy Haines, (NEW GUY IN TOWN, HAINES HIS WAY) Melody Hollis, (Irving Berlin's WHITE CHRISTMAS, ANNIE) Kevin Symons, (SHE LOVES ME, WICKED CITY BLUES, SHOOTING THE STAR) Alet Taylor, (GUYS & DOLLS, HAVING IT ALL) and Shannon Warne (CAMELOT, SOUND OF MUSIC, HAVING IT ALL).

Richard Berent will provide musical direction and Jason Graae will be the evening special guest.

You may know that Krtizerland host Bruce Kimmel is the producer of a boatload of musical theatre and soundtrack albums (his label, Kritzerland, just issues their 100th CD release), but when wearing other hats, he's also a writer, director, and composer/lyricist. The November show is a celebration of the Blu-ray release of his cult film classic, "The First Nudie Musical." In addition to songs from that film, the evening will also be featuring songs from many of his other shows and films, including "The Brain From Planet X," "The Creature Wasn't Nice, "Stages," "Together Again," and more. It will be a fun evening and will include a reunion of the original four Dancing Dildos, who will, of course, be singing "Dancing Dildos." Additionally, you'll hear previews of two songs from the stage adaptation of "Nudie Musical." It will be a fast paced, fun evening of song and chatter (and even a special gift for all attendees.)

Jason Graae, currently taking his show PERFECT HERMANY: Jason Graae SINGS Jerry Herman, everywhere, including on CD, has been on Broadway, off-Broadway, the Metropolitan Opera House and in Los Angeles and won the L.A. Drama Critics Circle Award- the 2008 Joel Hirschorn Award for Outstanding Achievement in Musical Theatre.

Reservations: Dinner reservations begin at 7 p.m. and will guarantee you a table. If you reserve for dinner, you will get a phone confirmation. If you wish to attend the show only, please reserve with your phone number in case you need to be reached, but you will not receive a confirmation. Please make your reservation as soon as possible. If you need to cancel, please do so by phone ASAP.
