Julien's Auctions, the world-record breaking auction house to the stars, has named industry veteran and auctioneer Tim Luke as Executive Director, Contemporary and Street Art. He will be managing and maintaining the international auction house's successful development of the contemporary and street art global auction markets. He will also manage Julien's highly successful partnership with Artsy, the digital leader and top resource for buying, collecting and fine arts education. Luke's impressive career in the auction world has spanned over two decades, most recently as President of TreasureQuest Group, Inc. As President, he was responsible for evaluating fine art collections, and preparing USPAP compliant estate, donation and insurance appraisals. Tim is frequently called on as an expert witness in the areas of auction, personal property valuations and appraisal report reviews. He also provides fundraising and special events consulting services to a variety of clients and freelance auctioneering services to companies globally. He has been a senior auctioneer at Julien's Auctions for the past seven years.
Tim was an Appraiser and On-Air personality from 2004-2008 on the HGTV network program "Cash in the Attic", where he travelled around the country appraising objects and at times auctioneering items for clients during the show's taping. He has also appeared as a participating appraiser for the first nine seasons of "Antiques Roadshow" on PBS in addition to Oprah, Today, and Strange Inheritance.

From 1990 to 1996, Tim was Director of Collectibles and an auctioneer at Christies, the international fine arts auction house. His responsibilities included overseeing the selection of items and collections, and the valuation of items. He also managed the marketing and public relations programs for the department's sales which included Entertainment, Sports and Music Memorabilia, Comic Art, Hollywood Movie Posters, Animation Art, antique Toys, Dolls and Bears.
A recognized leader in the auctioneer industry, Luke holds auctioneer licenses in many major art markets including New York, California and Florida. He is a professional auctioneer instructor and has taught multiple courses including Expert Witness Basics, Don't Underestimate Your Personal Property, High End Collectibles in Low End Estates and graduate courses in Auction and Appraisals for the IRS. Tim has been featured in numerous publications including Auctioneer Magazine, Antiques Roadshow Insider Magazine, Country Almanac and the Palm Beach Post. He maintains membership and designation in many prestigious professional organizations including the National Auctioneers Association, designation in the Master Personal Property Appraisers, the Certified Auctioneers Institute and is a member of the International Society of Appraisers. A graduate of John Carroll University in Ohio with a BA in Communications, Luke resides in Hobe Sound, Florida and Los Angeles, California.
