Pianist and composer Josh Nelson is thrilled to present a very special weekend at the Blue Whale, January 27 & 28
Josh's good friends and fellow creative artists are part of the latest version of LA's own multimedia experience company, "Discovery Project".


A visual and aural feast for the senses, featuring stories about LA themes: "Griffith Park", "Droughts and Floods", "Bridges and Tunnels" as well as music from the film CHINATOWN and much more. Featuring new (and older) music by Nelson, Kathleen Grace, Elliot Smith, Russ Garcia, Jerry Goldsmith, and Anthony Wilson.

The Discovery Project's Blue Whale Performance of THE SKY REMAINS: EXPLORING THE PAST, PRESENT, AND FUTURE OF LOS ANGELES will be recorded* for rebroadcast on NPR's JAZZ NIGHT IN AMERICA
