The Fulfillment Fund announced the return of its seventh annual Taste of Summer event, to be hosted by Jon Huertas, star of NBC's "This Is Us" and co-owner of CLUTCH Restaurant, Venice Beach. Presented by the Fulfillment Fund Leadership Council, the exclusive food and drink tasting event of the summer will be held on Saturday, July 28 from 5:00-8:00pm at Unici Casa in Culver City, CA.
Honorary Chef Eric Greenspan (Food Network star and chef/owner of Brekkie Breakfast Burritos; chef/purveyor of The Roof on Wilshire), plus Honorary Co-Hosts Devin Alexander (New York Times best-selling author) and Shira Lazar (Co-Founder & CEO of What's Trending) join the fun and festivities at the stunning Unici Casa where guests will be treated to the beautiful atmosphere of one of Los Angeles' premiere special events venues.
Taste of Summer features an array of renowned chefs, restaurants, wineries, breweries, and beverage makers, along with fine entertainment and great company. Confirmed participants for this year include Clutch, Preux & Proper, Phorage LA, Barbara Jean, Ipic Entertainment, Kikori Whiskey, Café Panamericana and Milk Jar Cookies.
All proceeds from the annual event will benefit the Fulfillment Fund, a nonprofit college access organization that helps make college a reality for thousands of students growing up in educationally and economically under-resourced communities in Los Angeles.
"Taste of Summer is more than just a tasting event. We provide a platform for collaborative and culinary expression, giving guests a chance to taste some of the best chefs in L.A., while also helping under-resourced students get one step closer to a college education. There are so many causes out there worth supporting, but there are few things better than investing in the future leaders of America," said Jeremy Delaplane, Fulfillment Fund Leadership Council Board Member and Founder of Venice Winter Ventures.
