Johnathan Fernandez To Host 22nd Annual Art Directors Guild Excellence in Production Design Awards  ImageComedian Johnathan Fernandez will host the 22nd Annual Art Directors Guild Excellence in Production Design Awards (ADG, IATSE Local 800) on Saturday, Jan. 27, 2018, at the Ray Dolby Ballroom at Hollywood and Highland.

The announcement was made today by ADG Awards Producers Thomas A. Walsh, ADG, and Thomas Wilkins, ADG.
Johnathan Fernandez is a series regular on FOX's hit show Lethal Weapon, currently in its second season. He can also be seen on CBS's BULL and ADAM RUINS EVERYTHING on trutv, and he was a regular panelist on Comedy Central's @midnight.

Born in Brooklyn and raised in the Poconos, Johnathan is a graduate of Penn State University and studied improv and sketch comedy at New York's renowned Upright Citizens Brigade Theater.

As previously announced, ADG Awards will honor Kathleen Kennedy, the Oscar-nominated producer and president of Lucasfilm, with the Cinematic Imagery Award. The William Cameron Menzies Award will honor Disney's Oscar-nominated animation filmmakers Ron Clements and John Musker. A special Leadership Award will be bestowed upon International IATSE President MATTHEW D. LOEB. The Outstanding Creative Achievement Award will be given to Production Designer MICHAEL BAUGH. Lifetime Achievement Awards will be presented to Production Designer NORM NEWBERRY, Emmy-winning and Oscar-nominated Production Designer/Set Designer JAMES MURAKAMI, Scenic Artist JOHN MOFFITT, and Senior Illustrator/Art Director MARTIN KLINE. The late Oscar-winning Production Designer SIR KEN ADAM (Dr. Strangelove, James Bond) Senior Illustrator and Bambi's Concept Designer TYRUS WONG will be inducted into the ADG Hall of Fame. Additionally, the ADG will premiere the "Excellence in Production Design for Animated Features" Award.
Final online balloting will be held Jan. 8 -25, and winners will be announced at the dinner ceremony on Saturday, Jan. 27. ADG Awards are open only to productions when made within the U.S. by producers' signatory to the IATSE agreement. Foreign entries are acceptable without restrictions.
