Join X Repertory Theatre as we host our second XRT Speaker Series presentation featuring actor/musician John Stamos; producer Neil Meron; talent manager Danny Sussman; agent Brandt Joel; and director Andrew Bernstein. The panel will discuss the business of working in Hollywood, the challenges and potential pitfalls that actors face trying to navigate the entertainment industry, and the vital and collaborative partnerships between actors and their "behind the scenes" team.
The panel will also answer questions from the audience.
A cocktail reception will follow, open to all attendees.
X Repertory Theatre is fast establishing itself as LA's premiere teaching theatre. Comprised of a professional repertory company and an acting studio, XRT inaugurated its comprehensive actor training programs in June.
John Stamos is an Emmy Award-nominated actor and musician. His television and film career includes leading roles on Full House and ER, among his many other TV and film appearances. Stamos is also known for his leading turns on Broadway in Cabaret, Nine, and How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying. He can be seen this summer in the highly anticipated Broadway revival of Bye Bye Birdie.
Neil Meron (Storyline Entertainment) is a multiple Emmy-nominated producer whose credits include such films as Hairspray, Living Proof, A Raisin in the Sun, The Bucket List, and the eagerly anticipated film version of Footloose.
Danny Sussman is a talent manager with Beverly Hills company Brillstein Entertainment Partners.
Brandt Joel is veteran Hollywood agent. Joel is a partner at Endeavor and a former agent at CAA and UTA.
Andrew Bernstein is a director with a long television and film career. Some of his many credits include directing episodes of Mad Men, The West Wing, Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip, House, and ER.
