After an exhaustive search, INTIX (International Ticketing Association) is proud to announce the hiring of a new president from within its own membership. Jena Hoffman, currently the Senior Director, Sales & Customer Service with the world renowned Los Angeles Philharmonic, will begin as President of the Association on April 13, 2009.

Ms. Hoffman has more than 20 years of progressive experience in the entertainment industry, and has been an active member of the Association, including a period on its Board of Directors. She has been a change agent hired by several institutions to lead or consult on issues as varied as resource optimization, start up management, team building and project management. Some of these firms include Tickets.com, Center Theatre Group (Los Angeles), John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, SportsLab, Inc., Intelitix, Los Angeles Zoo, Omaha Performing Arts Society, Arte/BilletNet (Copenhagen, Denmark) and the Boys and Girls Clubs of Pasadena. Ms. Hoffman has also been a frequent speaker on topics related to the ticketing industry throughout North America.

Ms. Hoffman is a graduate of the University of Kansas with a B.S. in Business Administration. She is also trained as a Co-Active Life Coach. Based in Los Angeles, Ms. Hoffman will bring a new point of view to the management of the association. "Clearly she is a renaissance woman with remarkable tools to guide INTIX as we expand on our mission to educate members of the industry through new and arresting ideas," stated Tracy Noll, INTIX Chair.

INTIX, a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization, advances the success of the admission service industry and its members through an active exchange of ideas and concepts via ongoing educational conferences and online sources. INTIX has over 1,300 international members representing 28 countries as well as industry leaders in all forms of entertainment including professional sports, performing arts, fairs and festivals, college athletics and arts and ranges from venues as large as 110,000 seats to as small (yet mighty) as 20. As technology and trends continue to change, INTIX is at the forefront as an outlet to lead its members through education and training so that they are better equipped to advance themselves and the industry.

Prior to the hiring of Ms. Hoffman, INTIX was masterfully guided through a six month transition by Interim President, Maureen Andersen, herself a long standing member and highly involved industry leader. INTIX thanks Ms. Andersen for her dynamic leadership which led to a highly successful annual conference and implementations of changes that will enhance the Association as it expands its efforts to educate members of the admissions/ticketing industry.
