Jane Monheit Performs This Week at Long Beach's Carpenter Center

Jane Monheit will bring her silky smooth jazz voice to the Carpenter Performing Arts Center tonight and tomorrow, Oct. 7-8 at 7 p.m. The Carpenter Center is at 6200 East Atherton Street, Long Beach, California.

Monheit will reach into the jazz standards songbook with "Two Play Two: Monheit & Kanan play Ellington & Gershwin."

She will be accompanied on piano by Michael Kanan.
