JPAS Theatre Kids! presents A CHRISTMAS CAROL on stage at the Westwego Performing Arts Theatre December 11-20, 2009. A

This version of the Dicken's classic is a joyous children's play based on the world's most popular Christmas story! All your favorite characters - Ebenezer Scrooge, Bob Cratchit, Tiny Tim - and a host of others bring the spirit of Christmas to the hearts of everyone - cast, audience, young and old alike! A Christmas Carol is packed with humor, excitement, drama, music and warmth of the holiday season.

Performances Friday and Saturday at 7:30PM and Sunday at 2PM
*There will be two day-time performances December 8 and 9 at 9:45AM for school groups.*

The JPAS THEATRE KIDS! program, began this past Fall 2008. This program gives kids year-round opportunities to participate in theatre, experience the process of putting on a show as well as learning basic acting techniques and skills. JPAS believes kids' enthusiasm and energy really invigorate the arts. Theatre Kids! activities give young people a chance to have fun with theatre, thus nurturing a life-long love of the arts.
