Bris Productions is thrilled to announce that that the return of JEWTOPIA, written by Bryan Fogel and Sam Wolfson and directed for the first time by it's co-writer and original star Bryan Fogel, is EXTENDING AGAIN and MUST CLOSE on Sunday, FEBRUARY 13 at the Greenway Court Theatre, 544 N. Fairfax Ave. in West Hollywood!

JEWTOPIA is the story of two 29 year-old single men, Chris O'Connell and Adam Lipschitz. Chris, a gentile is obsessed with dating Jewish women because he believes they will make all his decisions for hiM. Adam, a Jew, is obsessed with dating gentile girls because they don't remind him of his mother.   After meeting at a Jewish singles mixer, Chris hatches a plan - he promises that he will help Adam find the Jewish girl of his dreams and show him "Jewtopia" but only if Adam promises to help Chris shed his gentile upbringing by teaching him the Jewish culture.  What follows is an absurd and hilarious romp through cultural stereotypes, family pressures and modern dating.

Bryan Fogel (Writer/Director) is the co-creator of Jewtopia, World of Jewtopia and "Jewtopia: The Chosen Book for the Chosen People."  Jewtopia premiered in Los Angeles at the Coast Playhouse on May 8th, 2003.   After 300 straight sold out performances in Los Angeles, Jewtopia transferred to The Westside Theatre in New York City on September 2004, just 6 weeks after it's final Los Angeles performance. The show was a smashing success, opening to sold out audiences and recouping it's $625,000 capitalization in just 20 weeks...a record for any Off-Broadway show.  Jewtopia played a staggering 1100 performances in New York City, having been seen by over 300,000 people before ending it's run in June 2007.

The "Jewtopia" brand has continued to grow with Bryan's Multimedia and stand-up comedy show,  World of Jewtopia show which has toured major performing arts centers all over the U.S. and Canada since 2008.  The show has thus far been performed in over 30 cities and been seen by over 100,000 people.  Over the last few years, Bryan has focused on bringing the film adaptation of "Jewtopia" to the big screen and plans are in place to production in the fall on O'Connell and Lipschitz Lose Their Religion which will mark his feature directorial debut. His long time friend and co-producer for Jewtopia, Courtney Mizel is producing on the film as well.   Bryan also  has several new projects and ideas in the work.

COURTNEY MIZEL (Producer) is originally from Denver, Colorado but considers Los Angeles the home of her heart.  She attended the Peter Stark Producing Program at USC, subsequently dropping out to produce the 2008 feature film release Tortilla Heaven.   In Courtney's other life, she is a graduate of USC Law School and the Founding Director and Chairman of The Counterterrorism Education  Learning Lab, a nonpartisan nonprofit organization that educates the public about terrorism through an exhibit titled "Anyone, Anytime, Anywhere: Understanding the Threat of Terrorism".
