JAGGED LITTLE PILL Plays Rockwell Table & Stage Through August 30

ROCKWELL Table and Stage, L.A.'s premier spot for extraordinary entertainment and dining is thrilled to announce the world premiere of JAGGED LITTLE PILL, a concept by Kate Sullivan Gibbens & Jonah Platt, based on the historic album by Alanis Morisette, with musical direction and arrangements by Jonah Platt and directed by Kate Sullivan Gibbens. JAGGED LITTLE PILL will continue through Saturday, August 30 at ROCKWELL Table and Stage, 1714 N. Vermont in Los Feliz.

Step inside JAGGED LITTLE PILL, the experience -- from the album that launched Alanis Morissette as an international superstar and introduced us to the breakup anthem of a generation. In this immersive concert staging, The Album Project cracks open these songs of angst, love, and rage and lays them bare on stage.

JAGGED LITTLE PILL is an untamed ride through heartbreak, inner demons, and the power of Rock and Roll, performed by some of L.A.'s best musical theatre performers!

ABOUT THE CREATIVE TEAM AND CAST

KATE SULLIVAN GIBBENS (Director) The Album Project: + (glory|struck productions), Spring Awakening(glory|struck), 8 (Sacramento Premier). Writing: 8, The Play (collaborator), click (LATC festival), The Great Buford Fire Funnel (Coppola One-acts).

JONAH PLATT (Musical Direction/Arrangements) is an award-winning music arranger, current NBC comedy writer, musical theater composer/lyricist, and actor. He has performed in many shows at the Rockwell, most notably as "Gatsby" in FOR THE RECORD: BAZ LUHRMANN. He most recently played "Woof" in the star-studded run of HAIR at the Hollywood Bowl.

Molly McCook (Princess and Pirates Sing-a-Long at the Kirk Douglas Theatre), Lindsay Pearce ("The Glee Project" - Oxygen), "Glee"), Nathan Parrett (bare, Spring Awakening), Meredith Pyle (Hairspray, Bat Boy), Richie Garcia (ASM -Justin Love and Steve Yockey's Wolves), Casey Hayden (bare, BroadwayWorld Award), Olivia Harris ("For The Record: Baz Luhrmann"), Tyler Scheef (Rocky Horror Show), Kyra Selman , Jillian Beard, Michael Levine (Les Miserables), Michelle Raitzin ("The Voice Season 4"), Rebecca Dowdy, Bianca Gisselle (The Cave, Turntable: Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness), Sarah Petrella, and Jonah Platt (Hair, Floyd Collins).

The production team of JAGGED LITTLE PILL features: Lighting Design by Michelle Stann. Costume Consultant is Rachel Stivers. The Company Manager is Ryann Ferguson. JAGGED LITTLE PILL is produced by Kate Pazakis.
