Founded in 1971, the JACCC is the largest Asian American cultural center of its kind in the U.S. and is the preeminent presenter of Japanese, Japanese American and Asian American arts. JACCC is home to a number of civic and arts organizations and serves as the cultural and community focal point of Japanese Americans throughout Southern California.

14th Annual Shikishi Exhibition

DEADLINE FOR ART SUBMISSION EXTENDED!
In celebration of the New Year, the JACCC distributes shikishi to members of the community to participate in a very unique exhibition, expressing hope for the New Year or a variation on the theme of Hatsu-Kaze (First Wind).
Submissions for the exhibit are accepted through Tuesday, January 3, 2012. The use of the standard-size shikishi is the only requirement for participation. Click hereto find out how to enter.
