The Japanese American Cultural and Community Center is proud to present two of Japan's most critically acclaimed taiko soloists and former members of Kodo, Hiroyuki Hayashida and Shuichi Hidano, joined by Jun Takada, to make up a Super Taiko trio. The Taiko Center of LA Ensemble under the direction of Rev. Tom Kurai will open for this high-octane performance on the iconic JACCC Plaza, Saturday, March 5, 2011.

Hinamatsuri: Girl's Day Featuring LA Kimono Club

JACCC's On the Veranda series returns this Spring with Hinamatsuri (Girl's Day), a special day of celebration for girls and familes. This year's Hinamatsuri features live traditional music, hinaningyo display and kimono demonstration led by the LA Kimono Club, where Madam Akutagawa will show audience members the proper way to wear a kimono.
