On the Veranda: Ojama
Sunday, 07.10.11, 1-3pm

Landscape architect and public artist Calvin Abe transformed the JACCC plaza with his installation, Ojama. Now, spend an afternoon in JACCC's state-of-the-art Garden Room where Abe will lead this On the Veranda workshop where he will present his unique perspective on the natural and manufactured world and how it influences with his work.

Also, don't miss his installation, where he uses straw wattles to express the disturbances we find within landscape sites.

Upcoming Events: Movies on the Plaza: My Neighbor Totoro

Little Tokyo Design Week and the Japanese American Cultural & Community Center welcome you to join us for an Outdoor Film Screening of Hayao Miyazaki's masterpiece, Tonari no Totoro (My Neighbor Totoro).
The film will be shown in its original language, Japanese, with English subtitles.
The evening will also feature the screening of the winning video from the 2010 JACCC and Nissan Power of Community Video Contest.
