The Japanese American Cultural and Community Center is pleased to announce two upcoming events: the Asia America Symphony Orchestra (6/5) and an evening with John Waters (6/8).

Asia America Symphony Orchestra will perform on Saturday, June 5 at 8pm. Enjoy timeless classics from Stravinsky and John Williams by Grammy® nominee Dave Koz, guest starring with Maestro David Benoit and The Asia America Symphony Orchestra. Also featured will be music from Dave's At The Movies CD. The event will take place at the Aratani/Japan America Theatre. Tickets are $100 for VIP (includes reception), $75 for Preferred, and $50 General Admission.

On Tuesday, June 8, at 8pm, JACCC will present 'An Evening with John Waters: On Neurotic Happiness.' Waters will appear in conversation with Bruce Wagner, novelist/screenwriter/producer. In his new memoir, 'Role Models,' America's favorite cult film director offers intimate literary profiles of his favorite personalities - some famous, some unknown, some criminal, some surprisingly middle of the road. Who inspires you to neurotic happiness?

The event will take place in the Aratani/Japan America Theatre. Tickets are $25 General Admission, and $17.50 for Library Associates & JACCC Members. Tickets may be purchased online at www.JACCC.org or through the Aratani/Japan America Theatre Box Office (213) 680-3700.

Proceeds from ticket sales go to support free cultural programs at the Los Angeles Public Library.
