The Garry Marshall Theatre continues Movies at the Marshall with the namesake's 1988 comedy-drama starring Bette Midler and Barbara Hershey, Beaches, on Monday, January 8 at 7:30pm followed by a Q&A with actor Mayim Bialik (The Big Bang Theory, Blossom, Beaches) and novelist Iris Rainer Dart. The discussion following the film will be moderated by Scott Marshall.
Throughout its inaugural season, the Garry Marshall Theatre will screen all 18 movies directed by its founder in chronological order, with exclusive Q&A sessions with guest speakers from the film's production. Following Beaches will be Marshall's 6th directorial film Pretty Woman starring Julia Roberts and Richard Gere on Monday, January 15 at 7:30pm.
"Movies at the Marshall" is a donation-based screening series. Matinees for parents and caregivers of infants and toddlers will play at 11:30am. Seats may be reserved by calling the Box Office at 818.955.8101 or visiting garrymarshalltheatre.org.
