International City Theatre Brings Back Summer Youth Conservatory

International City Theatre is bringing back its low-cost Summer Youth Conservatory. The six-week program offers instruction for kids ages 7-15 in acting, music, dance and movement taught by industry professionals. The course of instruction culminates in a free presentation for parents and friends on ICT's stage at the Long Beach Performing Arts Center.

“In addition to studying music, dance and acting, students learn to think creatively, use their imaginations and work as a team - skills they will need regardless of the field they pursue in life,” comments ICT artistic director/producer caryn desai. “They also have a chance to form wonderful bonds with new friends.”

Beginning July 2, classes meet Monday through Thursday from 9 am to 1 pm at The Marketplace in Long Beach, on the corner of Pacific Coast Hwy. and 2nd St. The final performance takes place on August 9 at 6:30 pm.
