Producer David Stone and the Nederlander Organization announce that the L.A. Premiere engagement of IF/THEN starring Tony Award-winner and Broadway superstar Idina Menzel (Wicked, Rent, Frozen, Glee) will begin performances at Hollywood Pantages Theatre tonight, December 8, 2015 for a limited four-week engagement through January 3, 2016.

IF/THEN is an original Broadway musical which reunites composer Tom Kitt, book writer/lyricist Brian Yorkey, and director Michael Greif, the creative team behind the Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award-winning musical, Next to Normal.

Tickets for IF/THEN are now on sale and are available for purchase at www.HollywoodPantages.com or www.Ticketmaster.com, by phone at 800-982-2787, and at the Hollywood Pantages Box Office (6233 Hollywood Boulevard). "IF/THEN is especially meaningful for me because I had the opportunity to develop it for several years with the creative team, whom I have come to consider family," said Idina Menzel. "I'm so thrilled to launch the show's National Tour and to send it off across the country and around the world. I am very much looking forward to sharing this original musical with Broadway fans who weren't able to travel to New York and see it there."

"IF/THEN is partly about how the communities we live and work in become our families," said producer David Stone. "The original Broadway cast was like a family, and I am very excited for the family to be reunited on tour and to give audiences outside of New York the opportunity to see these exceptional Broadway stars in the roles they created."

Rounding out the company of IF/THEN are Janine DiVita, who will play Anne, Daren A. Herbert, who will play Stephen, and Marc de la Cruz, who will play David. The ensemble includes English Bernhardt, Charissa Bertels, Xavier Cano, Trey Ellett, Kyra Faith, Corey Greenan, Cliffton Hall, Deedee Magno Hall, Tyler McGee, Joseph Morales, Emily Rogers, and Alicia Taylor Tomasko.

IF/THEN is a contemporary new musical that follows two distinct storylines in the life of Elizabeth, a city planner who moves back to New York to restart her life in this city of infinite possibilities. When her carefully designed plans collide with the whims of fate, Elizabeth's life splits into two parallel paths. IF/THEN follows both stories simultaneously as this modern woman faces the intersection of choice and chance.

IF/THEN features choreography by Larry Keigwin, set design by Tony Award-Nominee Mark Wendland, costume design by Emily Rebholz, lighting design by Tony Award-Winner Kenneth Posner and sound design by Tony Award-Winner Brian Ronan.

The original Broadway Cast Recording of IF/THEN is released by Sony Masterworks and is available on iTunes.
