Get out your baking soda volcanoes (you have them, surely) and brush up on the scientific method when The Milford Project explodes onto the Hollywood Fringe Festival on June 17th.

Set in the sleepy town of Milford, Iowa in 1937, Milford is the unforgettable story of a thirteen-year old science prodigy who's enlisted to build the world's first atomic bomb. Together with his talented and lovely lab partner, he must overcome government agents, the evil kids from the Des Moines Science Academy, Nazi spies, an emotionally needy father, AND the entire process of falling in and out of love in a frenzied quest for that big blue ribbon. Featuring original songs like "We Are Smarter Than You," "The King Of Evil Scientists," and the showstopping patriotic anthem "Marry Me America," Milford is a hard-rocking, foot-stomping ode to young love, ruthless villainy, falsified history, and, of course, laminated science project display boards.

The Milford Project was created by Kevin Oeser and Nick Martin, whose writing, production and performance credits include world-famous short films for Funny Or Die, comedy at the Upright Citizens Brigade theater, and the hit show Un-Zed: A Zombie Musical.
