Organizers of the Hollywood Fringe Festival (www.hollywoodfringe.org) have announced the details of this year's Town Hall & Workshop Series, a collection of free community events designed to assist venues, participants and other community members prepare for the 2015 Festival.
"We're known for being hands-on, being very involved with our community," said Festival Director Ben Hill. "These events have become a staple in our efforts to both empower and connect with that community." Hill is slated to lead the town halls, which are primarily informative sessions packed with registration and marketing details. The networking-focused workshops will be led by panels of successful Fringe veterans who can provide a range of perspectives about their festival experiences. All of the events will also be followed by social mixers at a nearby Hollywood establishment. "The series was originally designed to help walk people through the process," Hill said. "Now it's also a serious training ground for arts producers. People use the meetings as an opportunity: to start some early marketing, make some friends, or figure out the early buzz on what will be happening this year."Town Hall I: Registration & Next Steps; Saturday, February 7th, 12-2 PM at Hudson Theatres

Registrations completed after that time will be included in listings on the Fringe's website.
