Los Angeles Philharmonic Creative Chair for Jazz and musical icon Herbie Hancock and a host of his friends return to the Hollywood Bowl on Wednesday, August 29, for a one-of-a-kind show that has become Hancock's signature at the Bowl. The theme of the evening is "celebrating peace," and the line-up includes virtuoso percussionist and classical tabla player Zakir Hussain, renowned bassist Dave Holland, acclaimed electric bassist Marcus Miller, powerhouse drummer Cindy Blackman Santana, rock star guitarist and special guest Carlos Santana, legendary composer and saxophonist Wayne Shorter, Santana lead singer Andy Vargas, Grammy-winning keyboardist George Whitty, and celebrated vocalist Kalil Wilson. Jazz harmonica sensation Grégoire Maret and his quartet open the show.
